It seems easier to me to study and do homework when there is music on.  Music stimulates my mind and helps the thought process flow out. It is hard to study with no music because the silence of a room can be boring and make it hard to focus. Studying outside in the woods or by a river is a help too because being outside in nature clears my mind.

  1. Hey Tyler, did you know that there are specific learning styles? Judging by your post, I'd say you're a musical/natural learner. Google learning styles, you might discover something about yourself as a learner--and how you might achieve even more.

  2. I must agree with your idea of studying with music playing. However when I am out in nature I find myself distracted by everything that is going on around me. I am amazed that you can get your work down out in the wilderness. Usually i end up feeding squirrels the nuts they forget to pick up when they drop them from the trees. You must have a very good work ethic and ability to block out distractions
