This article is about Afghanistan's anti-drug czar beginning a campaign against heroin traffickers. Especially those who fund the Taliban through drug money. He wants to abolish poppy fields in a country that produces 93% of the worlds heroin. He however is almost powerless amid th e government corruption and the drug traffickers,
This would be a great topic to write about. I am doing the Drug war in Mexico myself. The drugs there also fund terrorist organizations. I think the best option is legalization because in history of the past prohibtion never works. Legalization would dramatically reduce violence and crime. Since legalization of alcohol, you don't see people holding up liquior stores because they need their fix.
